So, if one of the consequences of the Chaos Theory is that minor starting differences result in very different outcomes ( I am not so sure if that is true in a global scale because but let's assume for a thought experiment), there should be many universes where life has not emerged yet. Now, hold that thought.
Also, as a consequence of the Chaos Theory, it is only possible to predict something exactly if we take into account all the tiniest starting conditions. Technically, if is impossible to predict something before it actually happens. But maybe easier some time after an event happened ( not technically predicting but explaining).
Now, if we can put all the starting conditions away, stop the time here, calculate away, send the result back, we have a prediction and we can restart the time. Obviously, starting the time is a bit cumbersome because we can only calculate at the cost of time, so we need to get time somewhere.
Let's go back to the initial thought: there should be empty universes whose time is not used for anything, so we can just take it to do our calculations. Forget about side effects for now, since that is what we always do.
The only problem is how to get to that universe. We'll imagine for now. Imagine there are particles called Imaginons (for obvious reasons). They are very small and we cannot detect them. For not just because they are so small but also because the universe is full of are tiny black holes, whose event horizon is just the size of Imaginons. By consequence, nothing from our observable world is affected but imaginons always fall into those holes - and - mostly for our own convenience - they go to another universe, the universe we can use as our computer. To realize that computation, all that we need to do (theoretically) is to get a lot of Hawkins radiation blowers to move the tiny black holes to wherever we are going to use them. Encode our world's data and computation algorithm into Imaginons just before those enter the black holes, and then extract the results by manipulating the side of the black holes connected to the other universe ( on this side we can see the result from the change of the radiation from the black holes).
I guess there can be some problems with the other universes since not all of them are suitable (maybe populated, slower in time that ours etc.) and the fact that experimentally imaginons and tiny black holes do not exist, by otherwise, it should work.
To conclude, I am not sure why we would need to predict anything so badly to resort to such measures. Maybe if there's so little biological life left that it is cheaper to calculate things than to make a few billion of babies to run the same experiment in real time.
Basically, the main premise of science is that nothing is that unique, which allows us to make smaller blueprints of the world around us by saying "these things are pretty much copies, they are not identical in many senses, but they are identical through many lenses". It works quite well for our understanding, so it's likely that to understand the universe, we'll have to find aliens (or populated worlds, populated by some form of intelligence, I'm ok if it is an intelligence of an ant hive). A bit of metaphysical reasoning of course but then isn't photosyntesis metaphysical? (because you need a quantum search for the reaction to start). I did not read about it, but I suspect if I do, I'll find that human brains save, retrieve, and combine information by some quantum process, which is likely not fully contained within a human body (let alone the skull). Probably, that's the reason neural networks are still underperforming humans. We train them in an obvious replication of human brain activity but the poorly explored quantum connection is not being trained. I guess it might appear there by chance or we'll have to encode it as well.

Given the distance between the planets, these are not aliens, these are immigrants.
If Aliens were to find us in search of an intelligent (hate this word) life, they might have come to the conclusion that the life are our cellphones and we are just the robots taking care of them.
Given the distance between the planets and the unhospitable conditions for human beings on many of them, we might send self- and non-self-procreating robots to other planets and teach them to make do with whatever there is. If we can somehow solve the problem of the speed of information transfer, we can embody the robots over there and literally carry on living over there. Which kinda creates a concern: are we the robots self-created on earth controlled from elsewhere? Well, to be realistic, this thought has to assume that we get just a few commands and the rest we handle ourselves. But that can be easily resolved by assuming that the aliens controlling us live way longer.
Given the disposability of humans and all other living creatures, the Earth's world fits quite nicely into a hypothesis of a massive simulation for solving odd social problems. As if, you know, someone has thrown a large pile of play dough, which can be moulded into any weird pile, like a cat or a human. And that play dough must try to preserve its shape for as long as possible. I guess we can call it a law of physics, i.e. reducing the energy by keeping itself in a pile.
The interesting thing is: everything tends to a remarkable uniformity of shape. Look at fruits or leaves or animals. I guess the building of shapes starts somewhere on the atomic level and then proceeds with modifications to sustain the weather. The very perplexing thing is that apart of the size, life on other planets may have quite a lot of similarity with the shapes here on Earth. Makes it kinda boring, really. There must be some 4,5,6-dimensional beings to make existence bearable.
I write a lot. I mean, people pay me to write different stuff. Usually on different professional and technical topics. My main observation from this occupation: there are always those people claimed to be 'Big Thinkers' who write something extremely vague about planes, concepts perpendicularly related to concepts, meta-designs, and other 'stuff' that they think must be relevant but actually is so vague and boundless that anything can be included or excluded. They write and the public says 'oh!' and 'ah!' and generally admire.
Then more practical people come to me and ask me to explain what has actually happened because in reality no one has understood planes and concepts, stuff, and conceptual meta-design. And once I explain and relate to practical things, turns out that half of the time the big thinkers have just described what everyone was already doing. And there's no argument they were right because just about anything can fit in or fit out depending on who's interpreting.
And yeah, some 'Big Thinkers' write very attractively and it is a pleasure to read. But quite often the Big Thoughts are also very shallow and under the 'Big' title, there's a utopian promise resting on more unrealistic conditions than there's stars in the sky. Interesting thing happened today.
I have a ton of Facebook friends whom I mostly know and I few whom I don't really know. And yeah, I always try to remove them, but I guess there are moments when I am not myself (I am Mary Ann as well, like Alice in Wonderland) and these strangers reappear.
Well, this year I was nice and listened to everyone who have sent me a Happy Birthday. They were numerous. Not so bad after all. Anyway, certain A has sent me a message. I said thank you. A week later he said "Pleasure, sorry for late reply". Late reply? - did we ever talk?? - thought I. Turns out we covered something like a year with nearly daily conversations while traveling through different countries and cities. I had no idea.
Conclusion - I'm not rude. I just don't remember that we were friends one day.
And yeah - damn - I'm writing another Master's report that makes me want to just finish it and forget about it. I am tired and dreaming of attending some lecture so that I don't have to think for 1,5 hours :) Trying to change anything in life is hopeless. I'm gonna stop.
Notice that's more than risk of dying from COVID (not that it's a fair comparison, for many reasons, don't ask...).
